Natera's voice agent handled 4,744 booking calls in four weeks
Natera's voice agent for blood-draw bookings handled 4,744 calls in four weeks and reduced the short-call rate from 22 per cent to 12 per cent. AWS launched a service that evaluates agents built with different frameworks from the same traces. Salesforce and Anthropic also began piloting a plugin that makes live CRM data usable from inside Claude.

Natera's booking agent handled 4,744 production calls
Natera, which runs cell-free DNA testing, replaced manual calls for mobile blood-draw appointments with a voice agent built on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, Twilio, DynamoDB and Bedrock Guardrails. Across 500 test scenarios, tool-calling accuracy was complete, median perceived end-to-end latency was 6.8 seconds, cost per completed call was below 0.01 dollars, and response accuracy was above 90 per cent. The agent handled 4,744 calls in four weeks. The short-call rate fell from 22 per cent to 12 per cent and verification completion rose from 64 per cent to 66 per cent, while the average resolved-call duration increased from 79 seconds to 101 seconds.[1]
AWS evaluates different agent frameworks from the same traces
Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Evaluations reads an agent's OpenTelemetry traces and applies built-in measures such as goal success, correctness and helpfulness independently of the development framework. It works directly with LangGraph, LlamaIndex, the OpenAI Agents SDK, Google ADK, the Claude Agent SDK and Strands Agents. From traces sent to CloudWatch, the service reconstructs a session by distinguishing the top-level request, model calls and tool calls, then runs built-in or custom evaluators uniformly. AWS offers two modes: on-demand evaluation against ground truth for CI/CD pipelines, and online evaluation that continuously monitors production traffic.[2]
Salesforce data becomes usable from inside Claude
Salesforce and Anthropic have opened the Salesforce in Claude plugin to selected pilot customers, with an open beta planned for September. Built on 37 pre-made sales skills, the Claude Cowork plugin lets sellers query, update and act on live CRM data without opening Salesforce. It builds on the Headless 360 API and MCP server work that Salesforce announced in March 2026. Authentication and permissions are centralised instead of being left for each user to configure separately. Salesforce is moving customers toward consumption-based API pricing as activity shifts away from its own interface.[3]
