Spain's government presented IA360 as a 12-month roadmap for responsible AI deployment. The proposal combines governance, skills and technical capacity, while planned measures remain future commitments.

The announcement
Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez presented IA360 as Spain's plan for responsible artificial-intelligence deployment. La Moncloa describes a roadmap running for 12 months, covering safety, governance, skills and technological capacity. The official account frames an AI gigafactory, work with the Barcelona Supercomputing Center and stronger frontier-model cybersecurity oversight as elements of that roadmap.[1]
Social agreement
Europa Press likewise reported that Sánchez presented IA360 and said he would call employers and unions next month for a national agreement. That reporting identifies the proposed participants and timing of a consultation. It does not describe a signed agreement, settled rules, or a completed programme of investment.[2]
What remains proposed
The two accounts establish a policy launch and a stated timetable, not evidence that the roadmap's projects are operating. IA360 can therefore be read as a public programme that sets priorities for the next year. Its announced institutions and oversight measures still depend on later implementation and political follow-through.[1], [2]
