Xiaomi opens MiMo-V2.6 weights alongside its training tools
Xiaomi released MiMo-V2.6 Pro and Flash weights together with a technical report, task environments, and a reinforcement-learning framework. The model cards list an MIT license, 524 billion total and 42 billion active parameters for Pro, plus a 1 million token context. IT之家 confirms the release event, while Xiaomi's performance and training-cost comparisons have not been independently tested.

Weights arrive with the training package
Xiaomi released the Pro and Flash variants of MiMo-V2.6 with downloadable weights. The same package includes a technical report, task environments, and the framework used for reinforcement learning, so the release covers more than inference files alone. Xiaomi MiMo says the linked Hugging Face model cards carry the MIT license. IT之家, a Chinese technology publication, independently reports the same Pro and Flash release and describes the models as open-weight.[1], [2]
Pro carries most of its parameters outside each step
The MiMo-V2.6-Pro model card lists 524 billion parameters in total and 42 billion active parameters for each token. It also lists a 1 million token context window. Those figures describe a mixture-of-experts design whose full weight set is much larger than the portion used at one step. Flash is presented as the lighter member of the pair. The release therefore gives developers two weight packages with different operating burdens, while the published specifications remain Xiaomi’s own documentation.[1]
Published comparisons still await outside testing
Xiaomi also published performance, training-cost, and model-comparison results with the release. IT之家 confirms that the two models and their weights became available, but it does not provide an independent reproduction of those measurements. The benchmark values and training claims therefore remain company measurements. The independently shared part of the event is the release itself: Pro and Flash weights, documentation, task environments, and training tools are available for others to inspect and test.[1], [2]
