FIRA adds a model of corporate competition
Happiness Planet, a Hitachi group company, has added a competitive world model to FIRA, its AI service for executives. The new tool represents relationships among companies’ strategies and changing customer demand. It is designed to examine possible rivals’ responses alongside a company’s own choices.[1], [2]
Company resources are linked with customer needs
The company describes a model connecting resources, products and services with distinct uses, problems and application areas. Its scope includes semiconductors, data centres, energy, mobility and physical AI, meaning systems that operate in the physical world. Entering a strategy into FIRA permits examination of its stronger and weaker areas and possible competitive responses. The service can generate several options and compare them.[1]
The proposed process also examines subsequent choices after one option is implemented. Entry into physical AI is an example supplied by Happiness Planet. The calculation framework combines the company’s own approach with knowledge and reasoning from language models.[1]
Hitachi plans connections to business operations
Happiness Planet intends the service to support acquisitions, market entry and strategy development. Hitachi plans to connect proposed strategies with business operations and information systems, including new-business development, research and sales strategy. Those connections remain future plans rather than completed customer deployments. The company, established within the Hitachi group in 2020, is extending its executive service with a new modelling function.[1]
