The Guardian and Al Jazeera both record coalition talks, Wednesday’s overseas count, and the Sweden Democrats’ first loss of support. Full results are not in. Neither paper calls a government.

The BBC called it the first public acknowledgment of an offensive capability in orbit. ABC carried the same sentence. A Space Force spokesperson said the capabilities can be used for offensive and defensive purposes at the direction of combatant commands. The type of system was not named.

Daily News Hungary names minister Vilmos Kátai-Németh and the replacement harms list. Al Jazeera records Peter Magyar saying the rules would apply regardless of sexual orientation and align with EU regulations. Both describe the same Monday filing, not two laws.

Universal Robots launched Gen 7 at IMTS with PolyScope X and a rebuilt controller
Universal Robots unveiled its seventh-generation cobot platform at IMTS in Chicago on 14 September. Robotics 24/7 and Automation World both describe a unified upgrade anchored by PolyScope X, with a reengineered control box, teach pendant and tool flange. Teradyne Robotics Group president Jean-Pierre Hathout said robots of the AI era must be advanced rather than complicated. Automation World adds more than 100,000 industrial deployments; Robotics 24/7 treats the day as a show unveil, not a shipment tally.

Vega-C VV30 lifted FLEX and Copernicus Sentinel-3C from Kourou in French Guiana at 03:21 on 15 September (22:21 local on 14 September, 01:21 UTC). ESA said the European Space Operations Centre in Germany received first signals confirming both were safely released. Space.com said the 397 kilogram FLEX satellite will measure the faint fluorescence plants emit during photosynthesis; ESA says no other satellite does that from orbit. Yesterday's ESA copy still had the pair waiting in the fairing.
Webb’s IC 348 panorama shows brown dwarfs twice Jupiter’s mass
NASA released one of Webb’s largest public images of IC 348, a star-forming region 1,000 light-years away in Perseus, and said the search found brown dwarfs down to twice Jupiter’s mass. ESA published the same panorama as a NASA/ESA/CSA image and recorded the same two-Jupiter-mass floor. The card is the 15 September image release, not the older 2023 close-up.
