Sam Fender sets standing at 85 pounds after scrapping premium front tickets

Sam Fender has confirmed a revised price schedule for his 2027 UK stadium tour, following his earlier promise to make changes. Standing tickets will cost 85 pounds, with seated categories at 95 pounds, 75 pounds and 55 pounds. Venue and ticketing fees and a 1 pound LIVE Trust contribution come on top. The premium front-standing category has been removed.

The revised schedule sets out base prices

Sam Fender has confirmed the revised terms for tickets to his 2027 UK stadium tour. The separate, more expensive front-standing category has been removed. General standing tickets now have a base price of 85 pounds. Seated tickets are set at 95 pounds, 75 pounds and 55 pounds, according to the prices reported by LBC. The change follows his earlier promise to alter amounts that fans had circulated online. Fender confirmed the specific revised prices alongside the removal of the premium standing division. Fender said anyone purchasing a standing ticket would have the same opportunity to reach the front, rather than paying a separate premium for that access.[1], [2]

Additional charges remain outside the base price

Those published amounts are not the complete cost at checkout. Fender said venue and ticket-company charges are excluded, as is a contribution of 1 pound per ticket to the LIVE Trust, which supports grassroots music venues. He described the expense of putting on shows as much higher than two years ago and said he could not control those additional fees. The distinction means the 85 pounds standing price should be read as a base amount, with the named charges on top. NME reported that an earlier 1 pounds contribution attached to Fender’s arena tour had helped 38 grassroots venues. The new tour’s contribution is also separate from the revised ticket categories.[1], [2]

The new terms follow objections before sales

The earlier dispute arose before tickets went on sale. Figures circulated for Wembley had listed front-standing admission at 130.75 pounds and general standing at 98.85 pounds, with premium arrangements also reported elsewhere. Fender said the amounts had risen further than he intended and that increases should reflect staging costs. He objected to splitting the standing audience. The revised announcement followed that intervention. The summer itinerary begins with two Newcastle shows at St James’ Park and also includes Cardiff, London, Dublin, Edinburgh and Manchester. The sterling pricing revision concerns the UK concerts. Presales are scheduled for October 28 and general sales for October 30. Wunderhorse will support the UK stadium concerts.[1], [2]
