Two point four billion is the initial delivery line

Reuters reported that a regulatory filing showed a long-term backup-generator supply deal for Amazon data centers, with initial deliveries expected at about 2.4 billion dollars in 2027 and 2028. Generac shares surged more than 40 per cent in extended trading. CNBC also said initial generator deliveries are expected to total 2.4 billion dollars in 2027 and 2028, and that shares rose more than 40 per cent after hours.[1], [2]

One point sixty-nine million shares at 200.93 dollars

Reuters said Generac issued a warrant to Amazon.com NV Investment Holdings to acquire up to 1.69 million shares at 200.93 dollars per share. About 307,954 shares vested immediately; remaining shares vest in tranches tied to Amazon purchases of backup generators, up to 8 billion dollars in aggregate payments. The warrant is exercisable through September 2033 and represents nearly 3 per cent of outstanding shares.[1], [2]

CNBC prices the package at 340 million

CNBC said Amazon was granted warrants to buy up to 340 million dollars of Generac stock as part of the data-center backup-power supply deal. It said the filing issued warrants for up to 1.69 million shares at 200.93 dollars apiece, that about 308,000 warrant shares vested immediately, and that the warrants equal almost 3 per cent of outstanding shares in Generac, which had a market cap of about 10.3 billion dollars at Wednesday's close. The 340 million dollar figure is CNBC's pricing of that warrant package, not a second delivery total.[2], [1]
