Computacenter lifts profit outlook as its order backlog grows

Computacenter raised its annual adjusted pretax profit outlook to at least 425 million pounds after a better-than-expected third quarter and a strong start to the fourth. Committed product orders rose from 9.3 billion pounds at the end of June to 12.6 billion pounds in September. Cloud customers supported technology sourcing, while professional-services growth outweighed declining managed-services revenue.

Annual profit forecast rises to at least 425 million pounds

Computacenter raised its full-year adjusted pretax profit outlook to at least 425 million pounds. The technology services provider said its third quarter exceeded management’s expectations and trading remained strong in the opening weeks of the fourth quarter.[1], [2]

Committed product orders rose from 9.3 billion pounds at the end of June to 12.6 billion pounds at the end of September. Demand from large-scale and newer cloud operators in North America and the UK supported Technology Sourcing revenue, which increased from a year earlier.[1]

Professional Services offsets Managed Services decline

Professional Services revenue grew enough to offset declining Managed Services revenue and lift overall Group Services revenue. North America recorded its highest level of project completions, contributing to both Technology Sourcing and Professional Services. The region’s committed product order backlog also increased.[1]

German efficiency programme continues

In the UK, both Technology Sourcing and Professional Services grew. German Technology Sourcing revenue increased while Professional Services remained broadly stable. Management continued previously announced efficiency measures in Germany to align resources with demand. Quarterly financial information remains unaudited; the next scheduled trading update is January 28, 2027.[1]
