Russia struck two state-owned Ukrnafta petrol stations in Kyiv's Dniprovskyi and Obolonskyi districts with drones during the morning rush hour, in the war in Ukraine. The Kyiv Independent reported that Mayor Vitali Klitschko said two people wounded at the stations later died in hospital and that eight more were injured, among them a 12-year-old child and an emergency responder. 161 attack drones, the siren and a minister's arrival

During the war in Ukraine, Russia launched 161 attack drones overnight. The Kyiv Independent reported that explosions were heard across Kyiv about half an hour after the morning air raid siren, and that a second series followed after midday; the siren was a security warning in the capital. An office building in the Podilskyi district and a neighbouring single-storey building were also hit, and seven people were still in hospital by mid-afternoon.
