Claude Code's temporary ceiling falls on September 14 as weekly limits rise 25 percent permanently
Anthropic will permanently raise Claude Code's standard weekly limits by 25 percent on September 14 for Pro, Max, Team and seat-based Enterprise plans. Because the temporary 50 percent boost ends on September 13, the new level will sit 17 percent below today's ceiling. The percentages use different baselines; the announcement covers weekly limits only and reports no price change.

Permanent limits take effect on September 14
Anthropic announced that Claude Code's standard weekly usage limits will rise permanently by 25 percent from September 14. The change covers Pro, Max and Team plans as well as seat-based Enterprise plans. According to The Mac Observer, the company set the new level with compute capacity and platform stability in mind. The result adds a permanent usage margin above the published standard limits.[1], [2]
The temporary boost ends on September 13
Today's usage ceiling still includes a temporary 50 percent boost. When that boost ends on September 13, the permanent new level will take over. In Anthropic's calculation reported by BleepingComputer, the result is a 17 percent reduction from today's weekly ceiling. The permanent 25 percent rise and the 17 percent drop use different baselines: the first compares with the standard limit before the promotion, while the second compares with today's temporarily elevated ceiling.[1]
The change applies only to weekly usage
The announcement is limited to Claude Code's weekly usage limits, and BleepingComputer reports no change in prices. The Mac Observer says the permanent margin is added above the published standard limits. The plans' new weekly ceiling does not preserve the higher temporary promotion level. The permanent increase is limited to the margin above the standard limit. The effective date follows immediately after the promotion ends.[1], [2]
