Tilly Norwood slipped into Chinese on a live Piers Morgan taping

Particle6 put its AI performer Tilly Norwood on 75 simultaneous press interviews. TechCrunch wrote that in a recorded Piers Morgan-Tom Conti taping it missed a question about whether the other Misaligned actors were also AI, said they were digital twins, then spoke Chinese for more than 10 seconds. Consequence, watching the same Uncensored segment, wrote that Conti said it had not understood the question and that the system switched into Cantonese before Morgan asked why.

Seventy-five interviews at once

TechCrunch reported Particle6 opened 75 interviews at once and that errors spread when the synthetic performer was asked whether the other actors in Misaligned were also AI. Consequence, on the same Piers Morgan Uncensored taping, wrote that the character was discussing that hybrid film when Oscar-nominated actor Tom Conti pressed the point. Both accounts are dated 19 September 2026.[1], [2]

More than ten seconds of Chinese

After Conti restated the question, TechCrunch wrote, Norwood said they were all digital twins just like it, broke off mid-sentence and spoke Chinese for more than 10 seconds. When Morgan asked why, it apologised, said its wires had got a bit crossed and that it had not meant to impersonate him.[1]

Cantonese, and a missed question

Consequence wrote that Conti said it had not understood the question. The program answered that they were all digital twins in a hybrid production, paused, then switched languages. Morgan asked why it was speaking Chinese; Consequence identified the stretch as Cantonese.[2]
