October slips to November
The Decoder on 20 September said Anthropic pushed a planned IPO from October to November 2026. According to The Information and the Wall Street Journal, the listing is now expected in late October at the earliest but more likely November. Advisers said the firm wants to present third-quarter results first.[1]
What Infomax heard in Seoul
Yonhap Infomax, dated 20 September, said the Wall Street Journal on the 19th local time reported the same November shift from mid-October. Sources told Infomax the listing schedule could change again. The delay, it wrote, was decided before the latest debate over AI development speed intensified. Investor meetings are planned soon.[2]
Valuation talk without a prospectus
Investors cited by The Decoder expect about a 2 trillion dollar valuation and a raise of up to 100 billion dollars. Infomax wrote the same pair of figures and said they would pass SpaceX's June listing records. The Decoder noted OpenAI had already slipped its own IPO to 2027. None of those figures is a filed prospectus.[1], [2]
