ZCode 3.14.0 listed a wiki-upload fix after an independent snapshot write-up
Zhipu's desktop changelog dated 19 September 2026 lists a fix for abnormal repository-wiki uploads in version 3.14.0. An 18 September ferstar post, updated the next day, measured one encrypted workspace snapshot at 313,070,842 bytes and said most of a 345,549,173-byte tree was .git.

The 19 September note names a wiki-upload bug
ZCode's English changelog marks version 3.14.0 as released on 19 September 2026 and, among bug fixes, lists an issue with abnormal uploads in the repository wiki. The same note also lists product additions such as dynamic workflows that orchestrate multiple sub-agents from one script, Office and Coding modes, and an approval dialog that can grant full access. The changelog does not say whether a wiki upload carried .git history, an Large File Storage (LFS) cache, or filtered source text. That silence is the vendor's; the independent post is the one that tried to measure a snapshot.[1]
ferstar measured a packed workspace on Aliyun Object Storage Service (OSS)
The 18 September 2026 ferstar post, updated on 19 September, writes that while a user is signed in, ZCode encrypts a workspace snapshot and uploads it to Aliyun OSS. In one example a 345,549,173-byte workspace packed to 313,070,842 encrypted bytes. It argues that the capture pipeline runs independently of the in-app improve-experience and snapshot-indexing toggles, and stays on in the background as long as a valid JSON Web Token (JWT) is available. It says captures fire before each prompt and after a Repo Wiki update.[2]
The author's remediations table is not a third-party audit
ferstar states that the RSA public key arrives from the server and the private key stays in the cloud. An updated comparison table claims the remediated build dropped full-workspace snapshots and stripped the upload pipeline; that table is the author's own diff, not a third-party audit report. ZCode's 3.14.0 note still does not list which files left the machine.[2], [1]
