Meta connects Muse to small-business tools

Meta added business connections to its Muse agent, including Instagram and Facebook accounts alongside services such as Shopify, Stripe and QuickBooks. Small-business owners can use the assistant to examine sales or campaigns and prepare drafts across those tools. Meta says publishing, sending messages and spending still require the user's approval. The change adds working connections to the existing Muse product, distinct from the enterprise business unit the company announced a day earlier.

Muse reaches business accounts

Meta added small-business connections to its existing Muse agent on September 29. An owner can connect Instagram professional analytics, Facebook Pages and a Meta advertising account. The list of outside services also includes Shopify, Stripe and QuickBooks. Superpower Daily reported the same workplace and Meta account connections that day. Muse had already been introduced to users in the United States and Canada earlier this month. The new announcement extends its workflows rather than unveiling a separate underlying model or a standalone business application.[1], [2]

From sales data to campaign drafts

The connections are intended to let Muse work across tools a business already uses. Meta describes preparing marketing plans and campaign drafts from information about products, sales and common customer questions. Instagram activity and advertising data can inform that work; Shopify and Stripe represent the store and payment sides of a business. These are use cases described by the company. The announcement does not establish how many businesses have enabled the connections or how much time the workflows save in independent measurements.[1]

Approval remains the boundary for external actions

Meta says Muse will not publish, send a message or spend money without the user's approval. The boundary separates reading connected business information and preparing a draft from completing an outward-facing action. The owner retains the decision on a message or payment. A day earlier, Meta announced a separate Enterprise Platform unit and named its leader. Today's concrete product change is the set of services and workflows that small businesses can connect to the existing Muse agent.[1]
