ITOKI launches AI tools that analyse offices and release unused bookings

ITOKI has begun offering three AI agents for workplace management, following their earlier introduction. The tools analyse office portfolios, examine material for relocation and renovation projects, and release meeting-room or desk reservations when sensors find no occupants. The Japanese company says presence detection does not identify individuals and that separate rules check analytical results.

Three agents enter office management

Japanese workplace-design company ITOKI has launched three AI agents for managing offices. The OFFICE AI AGENTS suite follows the earlier introduction of the tools and is aimed at corporate facility-management, general-affairs and planning teams.[1], [2]

Its Facility Portfolio AI tool uses operational data from different locations to prepare visualisations, analysis and simulations. A user can describe the decision they need to make in everyday language and request an analytical screen suited to it. The tool also assists with data preparation and analytical-model design.[1]

Sensors identify unused reservations

Space Matching AI compares bookings with sensor-detected occupancy through its No-Show Hunter function. Unused meeting-room and desk reservations can then be released. ITOKI says the associated sensors detect whether someone is present without identifying that person. The Open Now mobile tool lists available rooms, booths and desks for last-minute bookings and can notify users when their preferred type of space opens.[1]

Project documents feed renovation plans

Workplace Insight AI analyses surveys, interview records and drawings for relocation and renovation projects. ITOKI says analytical data is managed on the user’s computer, with only the necessary portion sent for AI processing. Separate verification rules check results and preserve their basis for review. Its specialists also help clients collect data, define analytical objectives and design workflows.[1]
