WOGO’s Hacadly turns drawings into models and rebuilds editable features
WOGO has launched Hacadly AI Agent for mechanical design, combining language models with its drawing and geometry-processing technology. The software converts two-dimensional drawings into three-dimensional models and rebuilds editable features in files lacking a design history. It connects with existing design tools and supports an enterprise arrangement using customer-managed cloud AI.

Language models connect to drawing and geometry tools
WOGO, a Japanese design-software company, launched Hacadly AI Agent on November 5 for mechanical-design tasks. It combines language models such as ChatGPT and Claude with WOGO’s two-dimensional drawing and three-dimensional geometry processing. Conversational instructions can initiate reading drawings, generating models, comparing results and making corrections. The software is installed on the user’s device and connects with the design environment already in use.[1], [2]
Two-dimensional drawings supply the model geometry
For drawing conversion, Hacadly reads shapes, dimensions and annotations across multiple views of a component. It accepts DXF drawing files or PDF documents, with vector PDF recommended, and exports a three-dimensional STEP model, an exchange format used in computer-aided design. WOGO also describes support for attributes attached to features such as threads. Older drawings and supplier-provided component files are among the intended inputs.[1]
History-free models gain a new editable structure
For models lacking a feature history, Hacadly builds sketches, extrusions, revolutions and holes that can be edited later. The new structure supports changes such as sheet thickness, bend radius and hole dimensions; it does not recover the original designer’s exact operation sequence. Enterprise installations can connect directly to customer-managed cloud AI without passing data through WOGO servers. Connections are adapted to the customer’s existing CAD workflow.[1]
