Raye joins the summer headliners
Raye will headline British Summer Time Hyde Park, the London festival staged over several summer dates, on Saturday 10 July 2027.[1], [2]
Sienna Spiro is the first supporting artist announced for her show; further names are due to follow. Raye becomes the second confirmed headliner after Bon Jovi. The band will appear on Thursday 24 June 2027, on a separate date within the festival’s programme.[1]
A second album follows a breakthrough debut
Born in London, Raye began as a songwriter before releasing My 21st Century Blues in 2023. Her awards include six BRIT Awards, with album of the year and songwriter of the year among them, and the Ivor Novello songwriter of the year prize. She also received three Grammy nominations. This year she released her second album, This Music May Contain Hope, which includes a hit single and won the Mercury Prize.[1]
Sienna Spiro arrives after Visitor
Spiro, 21, released a first album called Visitor, which became the year’s biggest debut album in the UK. It also received gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. Those milestones concern different markets. The singer is undertaking her worldwide tour before the Hyde Park appearance, which adds her to Raye’s London concert bill.[1]
