One song, two releases
Singer Christine and the Queens has issued a new composition as Rendez-vous avec toi in French and Rendez-vous in your arms in English. The two recordings introduce an album whose title has not been announced. They arrive three years after the last proper solo album under the Christine and the Queens name, a 20-song work inspired by the play Angels in America.[1], [2]
The videos and recent releases
Each language version has a video directed jointly by Chris and Raphaël De Albuquerque, with choreography by Alexander Ekman. The singer’s recent work has also appeared under another name: Hopecore was released as Rahim Redcar in 2024. In 2025, Chris joined Cerrone, a musician associated with Italian disco, for the short release Catching Feelings. The new song returns to the Christine and the Queens name.[1]
New material on stage in December
Four concerts with a full band are scheduled for December. The route opens on 1 December at Botanique in Brussels, Belgium, followed by Scala in London on 7 December and Tolhuistuin in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, on 8 December. It ends at Alhambra in Paris, France, on 10 December. Chris has described a programme revisiting earlier songs and offering an initial hearing of unreleased material from the next album.[1]
