A guidance raise built on nine per cent growth

Docusign's board raised its fiscal 2027 revenue guidance to a range of 3.499 to 3.507 billion dollars, implying growth of about 9 per cent at the midpoint. The company said second-quarter revenue rose 9 per cent to 875.7 million dollars, with a non-GAAP operating margin of 31.6 per cent and free cash flow of 295.8 million dollars, a margin of 34 per cent. Chief executive Allan Thygesen tied the quarter to the company's identity and access management platform, which he said executed contract workflows end to end and took in a record volume of agreements. For the third quarter, Docusign guided revenue to between 886 and 890 million dollars, with an adjusted operating margin of 31.3 per cent to 31.7 per cent, and it set full-year annual recurring revenue growth at 8.50 per cent to 9.00 per cent.[1]

Profit growth lifts shares in after-hours trading

RTTNews reported that Docusign's net income for the quarter rose to 77.72 million dollars, or 0.40 dollars a share, from 62.97 million dollars, or 0.30 dollars a share, a year earlier, while adjusted net income climbed to 224.46 million dollars, or 1.16 dollars a share, from 195.09 million dollars, or 0.92 dollars a share. The outlet said Docusign shares were trading 3.06 per cent higher overnight at 67.99 dollars on the Nasdaq, extending Thursday's regular-session gain of 0.89 per cent, after the earnings report and the raised outlook, which it said extends a previous 3.490 to 3.502 billion dollar guidance range Docusign had set for fiscal 2027. It said second-quarter revenue reached 875.75 million dollars, a 9 per cent increase from the 800.64 million dollars Docusign reported in the same quarter a year earlier.[2]

A guidance raise confirmed by the market's reaction

Docusign's own account sets the guidance change against its underlying results: the raised range of 3.499 to 3.507 billion dollars follows a previous range of 3.490 to 3.502 billion dollars and rests on the 875.7 million dollars of second-quarter revenue the company reported, a 9 per cent gain with a 31.6 per cent non-GAAP operating margin. RTTNews's account adds the earnings-per-share and market-reaction detail behind that same quarter: net income of 77.72 million dollars against 62.97 million dollars a year earlier, adjusted earnings of 1.16 dollars a share, and Nasdaq shares trading 3.06 per cent higher overnight at 67.99 dollars after Thursday's regular-session gain of 0.89 per cent. Chief executive Allan Thygesen tied the results to the identity and access management platform, which the company said ingested a record volume of agreements during the quarter.[1], [2]
