Company sees a stronger third quarter
The company said on Saturday that it expects third-quarter performance to beat market expectations. It pointed to continuing growth in AI demand and the second-half peak season for information and communication technology products. Foxconn said visibility for the quarter had improved from the previous month. It does not publish numerical forecasts and said volatile global political and economic conditions still needed watching. Second-quarter profit had risen 35 per cent and exceeded analyst estimates.[2]
