Cogknit develops battlefield software in India
Cogknit is a privately held Indian company registered in Bengaluru, Karnataka. It develops artificial-intelligence-based battlefield-management and situational-awareness systems for armed forces. Zen says that work complements its defence-training, simulation and anti-drone operations. Cogknit’s turnover was 4.8 million rupees in fiscal 2025–26, after 7.8 million and 22.4 million rupees in the preceding two fiscal years.[1]
The agreement gives Zen majority nomination rights
The shareholders’ agreement gives Zen the right to nominate a majority of directors and covers special voting provisions, securities transfers, pre-emptive rights and information and inspection rights. Cogknit becomes its subsidiary when the deal completes. Closing is planned by 13 December or a later mutually agreed date. Zen says the acquisition is not a related-party transaction and requires no governmental or regulatory approval.[1]
