Global credit anchors the new office

Existing Qatari partnerships underpin the expansion
The opening builds on Brookfield’s existing institutional relationships in Qatar. Among them is a planned 20 billion dollars joint venture with Qai, the artificial intelligence company owned by the Qatar Investment Authority, Qatar’s sovereign investment institution. That venture is intended to develop AI infrastructure in Qatar and selected international markets. The partnership’s announced value belongs to that infrastructure plan; it is not a newly disclosed budget for the Doha office.[1], [2]
