Sony raises annual forecasts after stronger gaming and film results
Sony lifted its annual revenue and profit forecasts after a stronger second fiscal quarter. Gaming and pictures contributed to the improvement, while the games division also reported no repeat of a prior-year accounting charge. The group’s operating margin widened even as costs increased, and image-sensor revenue moved lower.
