Four injured, including a child
Kyiv Post, citing the Odesa City Military Administration, said a Thursday strike injured four people including a three-year-old child; the figures were not independently verified. Interfax-Ukraine's 05:09 report, citing the administration's Telegram, also said four people were hurt, including a child. The two publishers agree on the headline total; they are not being averaged or merged into a fifth number.[1], [2]
Floors 14 to 16 took the hit
Officials told Kyiv Post that apartments on the 14th through 16th floors of the high-rise were damaged or destroyed. Three people were hurt at that building, including the child taken to a children's hospital, and a woman was hospitalized. Interfax-Ukraine said destruction and damage were recorded on floors 14-16 of the 19-storey residential building, that a child was taken to a children's hospital, a woman was hospitalized, and a third injured person was treated on site.[1], [2]
A second district caught fire
Kyiv Post said another person was injured when residential buildings caught fire in a different district. Interfax-Ukraine likewise said houses were damaged and then caught fire in another district, with one person hurt there. Kyiv Post added that the overnight assault also hit Kyiv and Zaporizhzhia; those additional claims were not separately verified in the Interfax-Ukraine Odesa item, so they stay on Kyiv Post's account.[1], [2]
