A loop of two qubits

Oxford's trapped ions held a Z2 lattice gauge theory by giving the gauge field to the qubits and the bosonic matter to the ions' own vibrational modes.[1]

After the link evolved in a way that obeyed Gauss's law, Aharonov-Bohm interference showed up in a loop built from two qubits and two oscillators, with the gauge field itself carrying the flux.[1]

J moved by 12%

The comparison that set the model against that trace adjusted the tunnelling rate J by 12% until the timescales met, and the analysis post-selects on the qubit state.[1]
