Williams puts Rams ahead before halftime

Chargers kicker Cameron Dicker helped his team build a 9-3 lead in the first half. A short touchdown run by Rams running back Kyren Williams then put the Rams ahead 10-9 before the break. Quarterback Matthew Stafford’s long completion to receiver Tutu Atwell helped set up that score. Williams finished with about 51 metres on 16 carries and a rushing touchdown.[1]

Corum and two interceptions extend the advantage

Rams running back Blake Corum gained about 67 metres on 11 carries. His touchdown run from about 21 metres made it 17-9 early in the second half. Defensive players Quentin Lake and Trent McDuffie each intercepted a pass; the possessions following those takeaways ended with 10 points in total.
