Mbappé puts Madrid ahead from the penalty spot

Real Madrid beat Racing Santander 3-0 away in Spain’s top football league. All three goals came before half-time at El Sardinero in Santander, in northern Spain.[1], [2]

Arda Güler threatened in the seventh minute with a first-time shot from Trent’s pass that went narrowly wide. He then crossed for Jude Bellingham, whose header was stopped on the line. After Prati brought Kylian Mbappé down inside the area, the French forward converted the penalty in the 11th minute. Thibaut Courtois then saved Iker Luque’s attempt at an immediate reply.[1]

Güler sets up Bellingham before Diomande’s volley

Güler passed through the defence for Madrid’s second goal. Bellingham advanced, rounded goalkeeper Agirrezabala and scored in the 21st minute. Yan Diomande extended the lead in the 36th: a clearance after a corner landed outside the penalty area, where he struck it with a right-footed volley. Madrid reached the interval with a three-goal cushion.[1]

A goalless second half completes a sixth straight win

Racing attacked more after the break but did not score. Mbappé struck the post from distance and sent another attempt over the bar. Bellingham also tested Agirrezabala after a further Güler pass; the goalkeeper secured the ball at the second attempt. The final score gave José Mourinho’s side their sixth consecutive victory across all competitions in their first match of November.[1]
