Humanoid robots dance and show combat moves on IFA Berlin’s runway

Humanoid robots walked, danced and demonstrated combat movements at IFA Berlin’s first Robots on the Runway show on September 5. IFA held its first robot runway show

IFA Berlin hosted its first Robots on the Runway show on September 5. Humanoid robots walked, danced and demonstrated combat movements on the runway. Participating companies included Unitree, Agibot, EngineAI and Dobot. Four-legged robots joined the show

IFA also listed DEEP Robotics among the participating companies. The runway event included four-legged robots alongside humanoid machines. The organizer’s account included Tai Chi movements as well as dancing. Robots from different companies appeared in the same public event, with walking, dance and combat movements forming parts of the stage demonstrations.[1], [2]

Visitors approached the robots after the demonstrations

Humanoid robots interacted with the audience during the show. After the demonstrations, visitors had the opportunity to approach the machines and see them up close. IFA presented the programme as a public display of robotic movements. Its account of the dancing and Tai Chi provided no comparable measurements of reliability in everyday work.[1]
