Consultants will choose their virtual customer
Samsung Life announced a mid-September rollout of the AI consultation training service it developed with Cleon. Consultants will select a customer type and consultation scenario, then practise talking with a virtual customer. The service will provide learning material before the conversation, followed by individual feedback and a learning history afterward. Consultants will be able to repeat the exercise for different customer types and situations.[1], [2]
Conversations informed by insurance knowledge
The company says an insurance-specific language model will conduct the conversations. According to Samsung Life, it will respond to the course of a consultation instead of repeating fixed scripts. The mobile service is intended for both new and experienced consultants, who will be able to repeat exercises suited to the customer type and consultation scenario on their devices. The announcement describes the intended training process without reporting a measured improvement in training outcomes.[1], [2]
A Seoul demonstration precedes the rollout
Samsung Life will demonstrate the service at Try Everything 2026 in Seoul on September 9–10, ahead of the planned mid-September rollout. Its designation as an innovative financial service dates to July and precedes the timetable announced in September.[1]
