Risotto puts human approval between diagnosis and IT fixes
Risotto has announced Autonomous IT Engineer for complex support requests that require investigation beyond routine password resets. The agent examines system logs and user context, proposes a fix and executes it after human approval. Successful resolutions become reusable workflows. The company also introduced tools that inspect recent ticket history and build or test automations from ordinary-language instructions.

The agent proposes a fix before a person approves it
Risotto, a developer of corporate information-technology support tools, announced Autonomous IT Engineer for requests requiring deeper investigation than a password reset. The company describes an agent that studies system logs and information about the user before diagnosing a problem. It prepares an ordered set of proposed actions. A person approves the proposal before the software executes it, placing an approval step inside the troubleshooting workflow.[1]
Resolved tickets become reusable procedures
After a successful resolution, the steps become a runbook that the support team can reuse when a similar issue returns. Risotto’s co-founder and chief executive Aron Solberg presents the features as support for recurring work. A separate history-mining function looks through the previous 90 days of tickets to propose workflows for repeated requests. Users describe an intended action in ordinary language, then build and test the workflow through the offered tools.[1]
Connections support schedules and events
The new tools connect through application programming interfaces, or APIs, and Model Context Protocol, the MCP standard linking agents to external tools. Workflows can start on a schedule or when an event occurs. Risotto names recurring system-health checks and account-access procedures for new employees as uses. Dashboard and reporting features draw on live data. These functions join the diagnosis and approval tools within the company’s support-automation announcement.[1]
