South Korea links five exhibitions to industrial AI adoption

South Korea opened K-Connect AI in Seoul, linking five exhibitions covering electronics, semiconductors, industrial AI, manufacturing and robotics. The programme runs into November at venues in Seoul and Goyang. It combines demonstrations with a manufacturing conference and export meetings intended to connect domestic technology companies with overseas demand.

K-Connect AI opens at Seoul’s COEX centre

South Korea opened K-Connect AI at the COEX exhibition centre in Seoul on 13 October. The industry and trade ministry hosts the programme, organised by KOTRA, the country’s trade and investment promotion agency. It brings five specialised exhibitions under one programme focused on applying AI in manufacturing. Electronics, semiconductors, industrial AI applications, machinery and robotics are the participating fields.[1], [2]

Five exhibitions continue through early November

The exhibitions run sequentially from 13 October to 7 November at COEX and KINTEX, the exhibition venue in Goyang, South Korea. KES covers electronics and SEDEX semiconductors. Industrial AI EXPO covers commercial AI applications, AMXPO manufacturing, and RoboWorld robotics. Edaily gives planned participation of approximately 1,500 domestic and 130 overseas companies. About 5,500 overseas visitors are expected. These figures describe the organisers’ plans rather than completed attendance.[1]

Manufacturing talks and export meetings are scheduled

The M.AX CON manufacturing conference is scheduled for 21 October at KINTEX. Its programme includes AI factories, industrial robots, physical AI and autonomous manufacturing, alongside international application examples and government policy. Export business meetings are scheduled for 21 and 22 October. A demonstration briefing and policy pavilion are also part of the programme. KOTRA president Kang Kyungsung says the aim is to connect domestic companies’ capabilities with overseas demand.[1]
