SoundCloud opens direct publishing for ElevenMusic songs with AI labels
SoundCloud has connected to ElevenLabs’ ElevenMusic so creators can publish generated songs without downloading and uploading files separately. Tracks using the connection will carry a label identifying their origin. The partnership includes three months of ElevenMusic Pro for SoundCloud Artist Pro subscribers, while SoundCloud retains its prohibition on misleading artist impersonation.

A direct connection removes file transfers
SoundCloud has opened direct publishing for music created in ElevenMusic, ElevenLabs’ music-generation application. Previously, creators had to download a song from ElevenMusic and upload it separately to SoundCloud. The new connection removes those manual transfer steps and links production in the creation app with publication on the listening platform. Songs sent through the integration will carry a label identifying their AI origin.[1], [2]
Artist Pro subscribers receive a trial period
The partnership includes three months of ElevenMusic Pro access for SoundCloud Artist Pro subscribers. ElevenMusic lets users make songs from lyrics, melodies or moods and remix other artists’ tracks. ElevenLabs released its first music-generation model in 2025 and opened the standalone application in April. SoundCloud becomes ElevenMusic’s first direct publishing destination outside the creation app itself.[1]
SoundCloud retains its rule against misleading impersonation
SoundCloud says it prohibits AI-generated content that misleads listeners about a work’s origin or authorship, including deceptive impersonation of artists. Identification of ElevenMusic in the new workflow accompanies that rule. SoundCloud chief executive Eliah Seton emphasized artists experimenting and developing ideas, while ElevenLabs cofounder and chief executive Mati Staniszewski described helping creators connect music production with discovery and reach an audience.[1]
