Adjusted operating income reached $12.35 billion, while reported operating income was $11.95 billion, compared with $5.27 billion a year earlier. International output grows while Norway stays stable

Average equity production increased 2% to 2,166,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. International production rose 21%, with Equinor citing Adura in the United Kingdom, Bacalhau in Brazil and reduced maintenance. Norwegian production remained broadly stable as new fields offset natural decline and outages at Troll and Castberg. Planned offshore maintenance reduced US production.[1]

Quarterly cash flow supports dividend and repurchases

Cash flow from operations after tax was $8.14 billion, and organic capital expenditure reached $3.28 billion. Equinor announced a $0.39 dividend per share and a new repurchase tranche capped at $1.125 billion. The tranche forms part of an annual programme of up to $3 billion, including transactions involving the Norwegian state’s shares.[1]
