Britain is preparing to share intellectual property for local production of Stone Cloak, while an F-16 downed a drone during the third reported airspace intrusion in three days.

Technology will be produced in Ukraine
British Prime Minister Andy Burnham is preparing to share the intellectual property for the Stone Cloak electronic-warfare system during Volodymyr Zelenskyy's London visit. The transfer is intended to let Ukraine manufacture the tablet-sized jammers itself. Attached to drones, the system is designed to prevent Russian air defences from tracking and targeting them. Downing Street said total British support for Ukraine since February 2022 has reached 25 billion pounds, including 16 billion pounds in military assistance.[1]
Romania responds to a third intrusion
Romania's defence ministry said an F-16 shot down a drone over the Black Sea after it entered Romanian airspace on Sunday morning. It was the third reported intrusion in three days. President Nicusor Dan said the aircraft intercepted on Friday was a Shahed type used by Russia against Ukraine. The foreign ministry summoned Russia's ambassador, and NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte described the intrusions as a danger to collective security. Russia, meanwhile, said it had struck 133 Ukrainian drones that night.[2]
Two points in the defensive chain
The reports do not describe the same operation. One concerns a technology transfer that expands Ukraine's capacity to manufacture jammers; the other concerns a NATO member's immediate interception inside its own airspace. Together they show two separate defensive points against the drone threat on the eastern flank: disrupting the tracking chain before an aircraft reaches its target, and intercepting it after a border crossing. Britain's step concerns production capability, while Romania's account shows a national and alliance response to repeated intrusions.[1], [2]
