Wilson and Rodon return after injuries

Wales coach Craig Bellamy has recalled Harry Wilson and Joe Rodon for the November Nations League fixtures against Norway and Portugal. Goalkeeper Karl Darlow also returns to the national team’s squad. Wilson had withdrawn from the September camp with a quadriceps injury. Rodon comes back after the hamstring problem he suffered in August while playing against Brentford.[1], [2]

Duncan receives first senior invitation

Joe Duncan receives his first senior call-up. The young goalkeeper is on loan at Southend United from Bristol City and joins Darlow and Wrexham’s Danny Ward in the goalkeeping group. Bellamy also recalled Cardiff’s Rubin Colwill for the first time since last November. Kai Andrews, on loan at Oxford United from Coventry City, returns for the first time since June.[1]

Norway away precedes Portugal in Cardiff

Wales travel to Norway on 14 November for the match in Oslo, the Norwegian capital. They then host Portugal at Cardiff City Stadium in Wales on 17 November. Tickets for the home match have sold out. The selected group also includes established options across defence, midfield and attack, among them Ben Davies, Ethan Ampadu, Brennan Johnson, Kieffer Moore and David Brooks.[1]
