The agent drafts the cover of an older video

At the Made on YouTube event, YouTube announced an AI agent that watches a channel. The agent suggests covers and titles for older videos that find a new audience. Amjad Hanif, vice president of creator products at YouTube, says the tool also assembles a brand pitch from the channel and its audience data.[1]

A creator can upload 3 images for each video. The system gives those images to different audience segments to raise watch time. It also tests 3 versions of the same video on small audience segments. Hanif says the 3 versions are not dramatically different from one another.[1]

After 7 days the system writes the decision

The creator can make the winning version permanent. If that choice does not arrive, YouTube makes the winning version permanent after 7 days. Hanif says the time saved goes back into the creativity. YouTube declined to share data on whether the tools improve the metrics. The cover, the title, the brand pitch, and which version remains sit in a tool YouTube operates; the stated return is time.[1]
