Floqer plans an open-source release of its customer database
Floqer plans to release the technology behind its autonomous customer knowledge database as open source in early 2027, subject to security reviews. The system uses AI agents to research companies and contacts for business sales teams. Existing customers have asked to host their own information and modify the technology; the planned release follows those requests while the current service remains limited.

Customers want to host and modify the technology
Floqer, a company building an autonomous customer-research database for business sales teams, plans to publish the underlying technology as open source in early 2027. The company will first review security for a database holding potentially sensitive information about customers. Customers have asked to host their information themselves and adapt the technology or build on it. The current service is available to a limited audience; chief executive Shivam Mahajan says access depends on the demand the team can properly support.[1]
Agents research contacts and refresh customer records
Users describe the companies or people they seek, and Floqer’s agents research sources including job listings, Google, company websites and LinkedIn. The company says its system draws on more than one hundred third-party data sources to enrich company information. The search for usable telephone and email information moves from one provider to another. It also monitors job changes, promotions and funding at prospective customers’ employers to update records.[1]
Customer-data work grew from a note-taking extension
Mahajan and co-founder Zaaheda Islam first developed Super Chat, a Chrome extension linked to a ChatGPT account that helped users review information and keep notes. They shifted direction after discovering that businesses used it to clean customer relationship management data. In conversations with the founders, businesses described cleaning data by hand, without an established way to refresh it. Floqer disclosed its release plan ahead of its 14 October presentation at TechCrunch Disrupt’s Startup Battlefield.[1]
