Atos links enterprise data and AI actions with human-control choices
Atos has introduced Genesis Intelligence and the Codex platform for organizations handling sensitive data and critical operations. The suite spans data governance, model deployment and AI-agent coordination across cloud and customer-controlled environments. Codex connects operational information with rules and permissions, with actions governed by the organization's chosen level of human control.

Genesis Intelligence spans data preparation and agents
Atos, the French technology services group, introduced Genesis Intelligence and Atos Codex on October 26. The suite is aimed at organizations handling sensitive data and critical operations, including industry, transport, defense, infrastructure and public administration. It combines data preparation and governance with model development, deployment and coordination of AI agents, the software that carries out assigned tasks.[1], [2]
Deployment includes customer-controlled environments
The deployment options include public cloud, sovereign cloud, customer premises and physically isolated environments. Data Foundation, the suite's data-governance component, covers quality controls, cataloging, lineage and traceability. Other components provide model routing, a Small Language Model Factory for locally deployable models, and an enterprise portal for customizable generative AI agents. Atos describes these as parts of its enterprise offering.[1], [2]
Rules and permissions govern action through Codex
Codex expands to Center of Operations and Data EXcellence. Atos describes the platform as connecting operational information, cybersecurity controls, business context and AI reasoning. Its operational ontology represents entities, relationships, rules, permissions and possible actions. Decisions become actions according to the organization's governance model and chosen level of human control. The announcement sets out capabilities and intended uses without independently audited productivity results.[1], [2]
