SoftBank adds human decision points to multistage AI workflows
SoftBank has launched AGENTIC STAR 3.0 with projects that combine AI tasks and human decisions in a continuing business process. Execution histories and views of completed jobs, failures and processing times let companies inspect how work proceeds. The release adds tools for assessing operations; it offers no independently measured customer productivity gain.

Projects join AI tasks and human decisions
SoftBank, the Japanese technology group, began offering AGENTIC STAR 3.0 on October 26. The corporate AI platform adds projects for designing a business process with several stages. An AI agent, software that performs assigned tasks, can carry out some steps while people make decisions or confirm results at others. Organizations choose how those stages fit into a continuing workflow.[1], [2]
Execution histories make earlier work inspectable
The platform stores the stages performed by agents and the outcomes of processing. Staff can inspect earlier responses and trace what was done when a problem appears. The existing chat function continues to help with individual tasks; projects add management of repeated, multistage work. This extends the service from separate conversations to sequences that organizations design and run over time.[1], [2]
Completed jobs, failures and time appear in operating views
New operating views display completed jobs, failed jobs and processing time. SoftBank says companies can use these indicators to assess labor requirements, quality and throughput after defining the target process and the scope assigned to AI. These are measurement tools supplied with the release; the company has not presented an independently measured productivity improvement at a customer.[1], [2]
