AI Foresight & Intelligence organizes potential business opportunities and risks into scenarios. Decisions, implementation results and feedback feed subsequent analysis, while internal knowledge management and agent-workflow services are planned for later stages.
NTT DATA Institute of Management Consulting, the group’s strategic consulting firm, launched the first service under SPARK on October 29. SPARK stands for Strategic Perspectives on AI Research and Knowledge. Its initial offering, AI Foresight & Intelligence, combines AI monitoring with expert input and human assessment for knowledge workers engaged in strategic work.[1], [2]
AI continuously monitors markets, technology, regulation and competitors for signs of changes affecting a customer’s business. Experts and on-site research supplement that analysis. People decide whether to accept, revise or discard the information. The service develops several future scenarios and organizes opportunities, risks and strategic options. Decision outcomes, results of implemented measures and human feedback are accumulated for later analysis.[1]
The company describes dispersed external expertise and internal experience as a problem SPARK is intended to address. A planned second offering, AI-era Knowledge Management, will organize internal knowledge and experience for reuse with AI agents. Agentic AI Adoption Practice is intended to assess suitable uses for agents, redesign processes and support trials and deployment. Monitoring and governance after deployment are also in its planned scope. Both offerings are due to follow in stages.[1]
