NTT East combines business listings with AI search monitoring

NTT East has launched a service that combines distributing business details with checking their appearance online and in AI search answers. Shops can manage addresses and opening hours centrally, review mismatches and collect customer comments. The dashboard also shows whether AI-generated answers mention the business and compares its presence with competitors.

NTT East launches a combined business dashboard

Japanese telecommunications company NTT East launched Omakase Net Shukyaku Support on November 2. The service combines distribution of business information with monitoring how a business appears in AI search answers. It gives local businesses and shops a dashboard for managing their online presence.[1], [2]

Listings, reviews and search answers are checked

Business names, addresses, phone numbers and opening hours are stored centrally and distributed to connected websites and social networks. NTT East says keeping the same details current across separate channels has become a burden for businesses. An AI-assisted function compares online listings with registered details and displays mismatches. Generative AI also collects comments and reputation information. For relevant search keywords, the dashboard gathers AI-generated answers, shows whether they mention the business and compares that presence with other businesses. It provides suggestions based on the comparisons.[1]

Identity changes pass through a verification step

Changes to certain fields affecting connections with outside channels, including names, addresses and phone numbers, require a request through the dashboard. After checking the request, the service enters the revised details entered in iTownPage, the digital telephone directory, and the dashboard before distribution. Customers need NTT East Business ID and iTownPage registrations. A single Business ID can manage dashboards for multiple locations, but a location’s dashboard cannot be attached to multiple Business IDs. The company plans to expand its distribution partners.[1]
