The poster names the composers

Film composers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are supplying the music for The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, directed by David Fincher.[1], [2]

The partnership was disclosed through the new poster’s credits. Reznor and Ross, also known for their work in Nine Inch Nails, are scoring their sixth feature together for Fincher.[1]

A partnership begun with The Social Network

Their first Fincher film was The Social Network in 2010. Its score earned an Academy Award and a Golden Globe. The collaboration continued with The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo in 2011, Gone Girl in 2014, Mank in 2020 and The Killer in 2023. The Dragon Tattoo soundtrack also earned a Grammy in 2013.[1]

Their film work outside that partnership includes Soul, Challengers, Patriots Day, Bird Box and Queer. Ross and Reznor had already worked on the Tapeworm music project in 2002, and Ross has contributed to many Nine Inch Nails recordings.[1]

Pitt returns to Tarantino’s character

Brad Pitt again plays Cliff Booth, introduced in 2019’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Quentin Tarantino wrote the new screenplay, which moves the story forward eight years. Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Timothy Olyphant and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II are among the cast.[1]
