Emraan Hashmi’s Rooh has added Tips Films and Tips Music to its production team, ahead of a planned 2027 cinema release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Mayank Sharma directs the horror romance, whose songs form part of the story. The agreement also reunites Hashmi with the company behind his first film, Footpath.
Film company Tips Films and music label Tips Music have joined Rooh, the musical horror production led by actor Emraan Hashmi.[1], [2]
Their arrival adds Kumar Taurani to the producing team.[1]
Mayank Sharma is directing the film from a script written with Vishal Kapoor. Tips Films presents the Vicked Films production. Taurani produces alongside Girissh Kumar, Vikram Khakhar and Sunny Khanna; Vikas Sahni serves as co-producer.[1]
Rooh places its songs inside a plot combining romance and horror. Tips Music will issue the soundtrack, and the announced cinema plan covers Hindi, Tamil and Telugu releases in 2027. Khanna described the partners’ experience across film and music as important to this particular production.[1]
Taurani recalled that Tips was the production company behind Hashmi’s first film, Footpath; Rooh renews their earlier working relationship. The actor’s horror roles have included Raaz: The Mystery Continues, Raaz 3: The Third Dimension and Ek Thi Daayan. Khakhar described the two Tips companies joining as an important step for Vicked Films.[1]
