Mbappé on product, Henry as director
On said from Zurich on 18 September that it is stepping into football with Kylian Mbappé, described as a World Cup winner and the current World Cup scoring record holder, who will sit with product teams on future boots and kit and also serve as a global ambassador. Thierry Henry, attached to the project since late 2025, becomes director of football. Founder and co-chief executive David Allemann said football did not need another brand doing the same work. Mbappé will work on product development. Henry's On work dates from late 2025.[1]
LightSpray moves from running into boots
The house said LightSpray, its sprayed-filament method, would now land on football footwear. It wants that construction to be light and close to the foot. No price, volume or launch season for the first football shoe appeared in the note. Financial terms were not disclosed anywhere on the page.[1]
Schertenleib's training tie now covers football
Sydney Schertenleib, named in the pool copy as a Barcelona footballer and Swiss international, now takes that tie into On's football work. Financial terms were not disclosed. The only publisher on this card is On's own press site.[1]
