Israel strikes four southern Lebanese towns after its first evacuation warning in weeks
France 24 reported that Israel's latest air strikes hit four towns in southern Lebanon, killing four people and wounding 20 according to the ministry. Israel's military said it acted after Hezbollah sent two drones towards its soldiers; Hezbollah did not comment on that claim. The new strikes followed an earlier wave against five locations, for which the ministry reported four dead and 32 wounded.

Sunday's strikes kill four people
Israeli air strikes hit Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Arab Salim, Nabatieh city and Kfar Rumman on Sunday. Lebanon's health ministry provisionally reported four people killed and 20 wounded, including several women and three children. Israel's military said it acted after Hezbollah sent two drones towards soldiers in its self-declared security zone and reported no troop casualties. Hezbollah did not comment on that allegation.[1]
Two buildings were hit after the evacuation warning
Shortly before the strikes, Israel's military told residents near a building in Arab Salim that it described as a Hezbollah facility to leave their homes. It was the first evacuation warning issued in Lebanon for several weeks. Lebanon's state news agency said warplanes first destroyed a different house not named in the warning, killing two women, and then struck the building identified by the military.[1]
The new wave follows Friday night's attacks
Sunday's strikes followed Israeli attacks on five locations in the Nabatieh, Tyre and Bekaa regions on Friday night. Lebanon's health ministry reported four people killed and 32 wounded in that earlier wave. Israel's military justified both sets of strikes by alleging that Hezbollah had sent drones towards its soldiers. Neither the casualty figures nor the military's descriptions of the targets have been independently verified.[1], [2], [3]
