Allied chiefs in Copenhagen heard the eastern cache was already staffed

POLITICO reported Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone telling 32 allied chiefs of defence in Copenhagen that a four-thousand-page eastern military file was already staffed and that troops and weapons were ready. A NATO notice recorded the same 18-19 September meeting. No second independent news publisher's own page for that cache was obtained in this slot's BBC world cluster.

Copenhagen, 32 chiefs, a four-thousand-page cache

Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone spoke to reporters on Saturday in Copenhagen, where the 32 allied chiefs of defence were meeting. POLITICO reported him saying the alliance, its structure, its troops and its weapons were already in place, and that a four-thousand-page eastern military file sat ready from even a thin crisis or interference on allied soil. The three regional defence files dated from 2023. He told the room an attack would not find the alliance improvising. Those sentences are the magazine's report of the Saturday remarks, not a second publisher's independent write-up.[1]

The same meeting recorded Russian airspace incidents

POLITICO wrote that NATO's own notice logged the 18-19 September conference and carried Cavo Dragone on breaches of Russian airspace, drone incidents and hybrid work, with the line that the alliance stays alert and stays ready. ERR had him saying the three files cover every kind of escalation. The magazine also carried an alliance spokesman saying an attack was not at the door in the copy this desk already holds. The airspace and drone lines are therefore inside the same magazine piece, including the allied notice it cites, not a separately gated second news card.[1]

The second publisher did not surface in this window

A Reuters record tried in the same sweep did not yield a second independent report of that cache either.[1]
