Baur opens the scoring before Scales hits the bar
Celtic goalkeeper Johnstone saved a Jutgla attempt near the end of a goalless first half. Mika Baur put the hosts ahead in the 47th minute, finishing a deflected cross from Haissem Hassan. Liam Scales almost extended the lead, but his header struck the crossbar in the 63rd minute. Celtic were still in front when that chance went begging.[1]
Rodriguez scores twice as Celtic misses a late reply
Javi Rodriguez equalised with a header from a free-kick in the 68th minute, then scored again from outside the penalty area a few minutes later. Celtic sought an equaliser, but Donovan’s 85th-minute opportunity, created by James Forrest, was saved. Manager Martin O’Neill said Scales’s header could have made it 2-0 and discussed the change in the game after conceding from a set piece.[1]
