Enciso answers Williams before half-time

Ipswich Town drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest at Portman Road in England. Neco Williams opened the scoring for Forest, with Julio Enciso equalising before half-time. A second-half challenge by Ipswich defender Issa Diop ended with a yellow card following a monitor review by referee Thomas Bramall.[1], [2]

Williams scored in the 13th minute, volleying Daniel Muñoz’s cross into the net at the far post. Enciso later intercepted Nikola Milenković’s short backpass to goalkeeper Matz Sels. He advanced under pressure from Murillo and finished into the bottom corner to bring the hosts level.[1]

Davis twice clears the danger on the line

Leif Davis made two goal-line interventions. In the first half, he raced back after Dan Ndoye found Morgan Gibbs-White on a Forest break. After the interval, Xaver Schlager supplied Ndoye inside the box and Davis again blocked on the line. At the other end, Sels had saved attempts from Jaden Philogene and Enciso.[1]

Late chances leave the score unchanged

Bramall awarded a free-kick as well as the yellow card after examining Diop’s challenge. Near the end, a Diop block fell to Callum Hudson-Odoi, whose shot went wide. Jack Clarke then won possession on the left and missed from the edge of the area during eight added minutes. The attendance was 29,198.[1]
