Two clips

Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS and Gemini 3.8 Flash-Lite TTS ask the same adult for a 10 to 30 second reference clip and a spoken consent sentence.[1]

Where the profile sits

With storage left on, Google keeps the profile in the project for 1 year, and the project cap is 200 voices. With storage off, the developer holds an encrypted key for 7 days.[1]

The match shows that the same person spoke that sentence. Later uses of the key sit outside these two clips.[1]

The mark on the output

Google ties 30-second replication to consent verification, a SynthID watermark, and a C2PA credential. Direction covers more than 100 languages, and the ready-made library passes 2,000 voices.[1]
