Naré takes Armenia to a third victory

Naré Kerobyan won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest for Armenia with Boo! at the final in Ta’ Qali, Malta, on 24 October.[1], [2]

Naré finished with 202 points, giving Armenia its third victory after wins in 2010 and 2021. This year, professional juries and public voting each accounted for half the final result. Viewers could vote free of charge, including for their own country’s representative.[1]

Public votes lift Boo! to the top

Naré was third in the jury vote with 103 points, before receiving the highest public score, 99 points. Spain’s Lucas Paulano placed second overall with 184 points for Cuore Bello (Te quiero, te quiero). He received 108 points from the juries and 76 from viewers. France finished third. Representatives of 16 broadcasters competed directly in the final without semifinals; Spain performed last.[1]

Both young singers came through internal selections

Armenian television selected Naré from auditions involving more than 100 applicants. She had sought the place for three consecutive years. Her Armenian-and-English song concerns overcoming childhood fears through play and imagination. Paulano, from Jaén in Spain, was also selected internally. He won La Voz Kids España in 2025 on Manuel Turizo’s team and studies piano at Jaén’s Ramón Garay Professional Music Conservatory. He co-wrote his ballad with Blas Cantó, Dangelo Ortega and Carlos Almazán.[1]
